The United States, a land of immigrants known for its diversity—offering everything from bustling cities to tropical beaches and mountain retreats—remains a top travel destination. One of the most eagerly awaited sporting events of the decade, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, running from June 11 to July 19, will boost the US travel scene this year. Sixteen cities across three countries will co-host this global event: three in Mexico, two in Canada and eleven in the United States.

Beginning on the West Coast, visitors can explore California’s waterfront cities, natural wonders such as Yosemite Valley, iconic landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge and must-see attractions such as the San Diego Zoo. Travelling through the southwestern states, such as Texas, the landscape changes dramatically, showcasing rugged deserts, the expansive Palo Duro Canyon and the historic Alamo. Moving into the Southeast, states such as Georgia offer rich historical experiences with Civil War landmarks and charming antebellum architecture. Finally, in the Northeast, the vibrant streets of New York City await, with the Statue of Liberty standing tall as the nation’s symbol of opportunity.

Let’s visit renowned five-star hotels in four of the US World Cup host cities—Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta and New York City.
